Ugh.

SO. What's up my peeps? Or lack thereof? Psh. Whatevs. Right now I'm kind of dying. High school life can do that to you. Last night I sort of had a mental breakdown. No shiz. I freaked out and started crying hard for almost no reason. It wasn't pleasant.

Lately, I've been missing a lot of cross country practice. Not good. But it can't be helped. I yam who I yam. Yesterday I went though. It was one of the best practices I've ever run. We went to a park, and ran on this trail. It was so nostalgic- it reminded me of my grandpa's farm. I totally kicked butt.

I just finished the book The Book Thief. It was one of my favorite books I've ever read. See, it's set in Nazi Germany and told from Death's P.O.V. Super cool. It's basically Death telling you the story of a girl named Liesel, who steals books.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, that yes, Homecoming hapenned. I went "stag" (can't believe my teacher actually used that word) but I had a load of fun. They have a new policy at my school where kids aren't allowed to dirty dance, so they didn't play any rap. Which is awesome because I hate rap! Yay! My two friends did get into a fight though the day before, and they were, and still are, annoying. They keep complaining how the other keeps talking behind their backs. I wish my friends didn't act like middle-schoolers. Whiners. My dress was adorable though. And my "friends" harassed a dead fish. They really are my friends, but would you want to be friends with people who harass dead fish? Didn't think so.

Well, now I'm off to finish a Honors AP European History assignment. Wish me luck.

I'm Back, Kinda

Hey, first post in a while. I said I wouldn't always update. I kind of want to continue this, because this is the closest thing to a diary I have, and I would like to look back on life, and laugh at how witty I am.

Nothing much is going on now. Today is the Powder Puff rally. I'm looking forward to it. I have a meet Saturday, and I'm going to Powder Puff straight after. Then Sunday is Homecoming. Yikes! I keep forgetting! Oh, and for those who don't know, and for those who forget. Powder Puff is a tradition at my school, where a girl football team competes against another girl team.

Right now I'm reading The Book Thief, and I just finished the awesome, amazing, super-sweet Cathing Fire, sequel to the equally astounding Hunger Games. I swear. These books are books people who don't like reading like.

Crap. Gotta go. Bye, bye.

This Counts as Yesterday!

Well, I'm half an hour late on my "once a day" deadline. So this counts as yesterday. I'll do another for today today. Eh, whatever. I'm tired, so I'll make this quick.

My grandma came over today, and so did my aunt, uncle, younger boy cousin, and younger girl cousin. I acutally wanted to say something important, but I forgot. Now I'm going to sleep.

Laughs and Dane Cook

Well, right now I'm watching Dane Cook's Isolated Incident. I love Dane Cook. If I wasn't underage, I'd totally want to marry. Kind of. I think he is an amazing comedian, and if he ever googles himself, I totally hope he'll stumble upon this and see how much I love his work. I love comedy in general, and I love to laugh (who doesn't? Stupid people.). I really respect him, and I like how he takes his work from the parts of human nature people purposely ignore. Oh, and everyone who bashed Dane can go to H-E-Double Bendy Straws. Jerks.

Anyway, before then I was working on my Literature assignment. Not fun. It's kind of interesting, it's about our family history. But it's due Tuesday and it looks like that will be all I'm doing tomorrow. And don't even say anything. I am thoroughly convinced I'm a dumb a**. Seriously. I'm smart. I know I'm smart. I'm just also immencely dumb when it comes to making decisions that involve me being healthy and getting enough sleep to not die from lack thereof. Hmmph.

Well, nothing much went one today. I basically procrasinated my project and TvTroped. TvTropes.org is a cool website. I can't really describe it, but it's a website that creates phrases to describe events and motifs found in television, literature, comics, video games, and other media. I mostly read it because the site has interesting and hilarious articles, and the titles for the motifs are so amusing. You. Go check it out.

Nnnn... I'm done for now. Goodbye.

Maybe I Should Have...

I was able to choose one elective this school year and I picked Art. I did not expect that I'd get interested in blogging and would want to know how to make it so awesome. I'm thinking that maybe I should've chosen Computer Publications. But then again, I really want to take Art. Next year, I'll take Computer Publications. It seems like it would fit in with my career goals anyway. The possible careers I am contemplating: publishing, being a novelist, advertising, writing scripts/playwrights in Hollywood, working at a bookstore, owning a bookstore, designing, and a few others. I know none of them are specifically geared toward using a computer, but in this day and age the internet is a really important thing. I might want to start a blog for whatever business or product I have. Or a website.

I have decided that my new life's theme song is "Sharada" by Skye Sweetnam.

I took an awesome run today. I ran around 8 to 8:30. My time was great, and it was cool out. It was still a little light out when I finished, and I saw the moon. The moon was beautiful today. It was giant and orange and close. I was running toward it most the way home, and it was inspiring. Then, when I got home, it was warm enough to jump right into the pool, even with my clothes still on. I'm serious, I had a good time.

And I just noticed this was my seventh post! That means I have been blogging for exactly one week! Yay! Congratulations me!

Books I've read in the past week:
  • The Princess Frog
  • Safe House (1-800-Where-r-u? series)

I'll start writing the books I am reading/have finished now.

I have done some research, and so far, these are some blog themes I've found:
  • Music/Hip-hop Following
  • Sailing
  • Scrap-booking
  • Shoes
  • Clothes/Fashion
  • Handwriting
  • Real Estate
  • Puppies
  • Neil Diamond
  • Stock Market
  • Card Games
  • Fishing (Rhode Island Carp Fishing)
  • Running
  • Diet and Weight Loss
  • Cooking

Wow, that's a lot. Bon, au revoir mon amis!

The Start of My Weekend

Do people really have more than one blog? What's the point in that? I mean, themed blogs really only have one point, and diary-like blogs are just online diaries. I suppose I understand if someone has one theme-blog and one diary-blog, but otherwise I don't see it. I guess there's circumstances. I also guess it doesn't even matter, because it doesn't pertain to me. So.

So. In middle school I was a target to male bullies. Does that even make sense? The idiotic boys in my class teased and harassed me during school. Seriously. Shouldn't boys stop teasing girls in the third grade? Not at my old school. And I didn't take it. I talked back, called them morons, and told the teachers when they crossed the line. Everyone says, "Oh, that'll only encourage them if they react." Whatever! I fought back, so even though they teased me more, they were a lot more sick to the other girls. To me they were a nuisance, they were creepy and gross to my classmates. Jerks. Now, it's not as bad, but my sister has it bad with her classmates now. The idiots in her eighth grade class are also being rude pervs. Soooo...

But it's a long weekend! Yay! I have a lot of work to do, but that's just a side note. My mom was on a business trip last week, and now she just got back. My house is a mess without my mom. My dad is basically useless when it comes to house work. But anyway, she just found out my sleep schedule for the week and now she's kind of peeved with me. I got no more than seven hours of sleep a day, and the yesterday, I only had 4 and 1/2 hours of sleep when I ran. And I still ran under 40. Go. Me.

I really like Psych. I am so excited the new season's here. I love Shawn. He's so funny. Even my prissy, preppy friend Alana likes that show. And she hates comedy. Well, okay, maybe not. She doesn't hate comedy, but she usually thinks comedy is really shallow.

I just remembered. Youmacon is coming next month! Youmacon is only major anime convention Michigan gets! And it's this October! I can't wait. Most my friends are so excited, and are coming with me if it fits their schedule. Some are even cosplaying! I want to, but there's some complications (EXCUSES). Well, for one, I don't know who to cosplay of. Another things is I don't know how. Well, that partly comes from my lack of knowing who to be. Oh well, I'll try and keep you updated.

Things That Get Me Down

My parents owe me $270. And I'm not stupid. They are great parents who have supplied me with everything I need. If they never gave it back, I'd be okay. It's just a little worrisome. That my parents needed to borrow it. Trust me, they'd never take it unless they absolutely, without a doubt, needed it. So that's worrisome. My parents really want us to keep that a secret. If my grandma found out, she would freak. She would insist on giving my parents a ton of money. My parents do NOT want that. Now that I think of it, we have borrowed money from them. That's probably a reason why they're so against it. I'm also not supposed to tell my friends. They don't want anyone thinking we need help. My parents are really strong. Well, it sucks because this one friend whom I tell everything. Everything. This was hard to do, especially when it first hapenned. I felt really scared. I don't anymore, but the whole thing is pretty surreal to me.

Moving on, today I had a cross country scrimage. And guess what? I shaved a whole EIGHT minutes off my last time. Isn't that kick butt? My time is now under 40 minutes at 37:09. And you know what? I cried because of it. Not tears of joy. Last year my best time was 29:19. I know that I can't be at that right now because of my acid, and I guess that's why I cried. I just... Da**it, I just... It just makes me depressed. I'm a pretty optimistic person, and I believe a good cry is healthy every once and a while, but I'm just feel disappointed at how things are.

Right now, the old Willy Wonka moive is on. My dad loves that movie. He absolutely hates the new one. He says that the old Willy Wonka took a dump and the crap is the new one. His words- not mine. And speaking of my dad. He annoyed me to death today. I even stopped answering his calls. My dad tells me not to be so condescending, but I feel like he is condescending to me. He kept asking questions and telling me to do weird things, like get out of a car at a stoplight, so he can pick me up. He then told me that I can't continue being a girl who doesn't understand/doesn't know about/isn't aware of her surroundings. I've been hearing that a lot lately. It hurts. I feel like it's really harsh. I feel like the underlying meaning is, "Allison, grow up." I know I live in a fantasy world (my head), but I feel like that's a part of me. I've been hearing a lot of criticism of my person, and I want to flinch everytime. I want to use that criticism to grow up and to be a better person, but how can I if all I wanna do is deny it, because I'm hurt. How can I listen when I'm hurt? But I know I need to grow up. I know. I just want to do that without losing myself. Without losing my personality, my being. Without losing what makes Allison, Allison. The flower is me.
